Chapel Lates
Every fortnight we host our special Chapel Lates in St John’s Antechapel, an intimate setting perfect for reflection and discovery. Each 40-minute session explores a different theme, weaving together discussion and performance to highlight how music connects with new ideas, all supported by our committee.
Chapel Late Series Michaelmas 2025
As the chapel is undergoing organ replacement, the 31st Oct and 13th Nov chapel lates will be moved into the Lecture Theatre in the Old Divinity School across the road.
Monday 27th October 8:30pm (Chapel): The St Johns' Music Students present a concert of solo music for their various instruments.
Friday 31st October 8:30pm (Old Div Lecture Theatre): Tom Yang & Friends: Schumann Violin Sonata in A Minor and Brahms Piano Trio No.3.
Sunday 23rd November 8:30pm (Chapel): Sibelius String Quartet in D Minor Op.56 "Voces intimae".
Saturday 29th November 8:30pm (Old Div Lecture Theatre): Big Lips Drowned: A multimedia Christmas concert with orchestra and actors.
